Family retreat for river adventurers
We had an very nice time making use of the screened porch with a grill, just enjoying each other's company over a BBQ meal. The owner also surprised us with flashlights when the power went out which really made our stay feel personal and connected, it was like she anticipated our needs before we even knew what they were.
Pricey but worth it in the end.

The Double Room with Garden View offered a cozy setting and a lovely herb garden, which added charm to our stay. However, check-in instructions could have been clearer, as we faced a bit of confusion upon arrival. Overall, a pleasant experience for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway.

I spent a couple of nights in a Double Room with Mountain View. The cabin felt cozy and well thought out. I loved the covered porch, perfect for morning coffee. The location offered calmness and proximity to nature, allowing for great quiet moments. However, the kitchen area could use some improvements. A hot plate was missing, which limited our cooking options. I found some dust on the furniture, too, which made me feel a bit uneasy about cleanliness. Despite that, the bathroom with the clawfoot tub and spacious shower was luxurious. It had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay, including nice towels and toiletries. The nearby store was very convenient for essentials. Overall, the privacy offered was wonderful. My time there was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was simply charming, but they need to address the kitchen setup.

Cozy atmosphere, showcasing an impressive mix of clean design and comfort. The kitchen area is functional. having access to the barbecue was a pleasant surprise, allowing for some outdoor cooking despite missing a hot plate indoors.
The room's connection to another building took away from the sense of privacy I was hoping for. Arriving in the dark and rainy weather made check-in a bit of a hassle without clear instructions on hand. While the ambiance set with soft music is nice, I would have preferred something more to my taste than soft jazz.

The combination of the cozy living area and the inviting screened porch made it feel like a luxurious hideaway. The deluxe shower could easily compete with the best spas. I half expected spa music to play every time I stepped in!
